Concierto en tres movimientos:

I.- The Crazy Gauls’ Village (La Aldea de los Galos Locos)

II.- Tubelix’s Impossible Love (El Amor Imposible de Tubelix)

III.- The Romans against the Gauls’ Village (Los Romanos contra la Aldea Gala)

Un concierto virtuoso donde las habilidades del solista están despiertas en todo momento. Una pieza divertida en el primer movimiento donde describe toda la familia residente en la Aldea Gala. La dulzura y comprensión expuesta en el segundo movimiento, donde el amor nunca llega, representada con expresivas melodías y armonías que pueden hacer soñar. Y contrastando el concierto, el tercer movimiento, donde se escuchan las marchas romanas, las duras peleas entre romanos y galos, los toques cómicos representados en la historia anunciada y la victoria esperada de los invencibles protagonistas.

Bandsterix & Tubelix fue estrenada en el mes de Enero de 2011 por el solista de tuba Tim Buzbee y la banda “The United States Presidents Army Band”
 

Bandsterix & Tubelix is a concert for Tuba and Band, inspired by the creations of writer Goscinny and Uderzo artwork on the popular book "Asterix and Obelix"

Concert in tree movements:

I.- The Crazy Gauls’ Village (La Aldea de los Galos Locos)

II.- Tubelix’s Impossible Love (El Amor Imposible de Tubelix)

III.- The Romans against the Gauls’ Village (Los Romanos contra la Aldea Gala)

A virtuoso concert soloist where skills are awake at all times. A fun piece in the first movement which describes the entire family living in the Village Gala. The sweetness and understanding set out in the second movement, where love is never represented with expressive melodies and harmonies that can make people dream. And contrasting the concert, the third movement, where they hear the Roman marches, hard fighting between the Romans and Gauls, the comic touches in the story represented announced and the expected victory of the invincible protagonists.
